The following charts are from a U.S. Bureau of Justice Statistics document entitled, “Recidivism of Sex Offenders Released From Prison in 1994,” dated November, 2003. The document is somewhat dated, however, the source of the data is unimpeachable, the numbers are consistent with a plethora of other studies and meta analyses, and the charts fairly well laid out and easily utilized. The source of the data has been added to each chart, for the sake of accuracy and ease of use.
